“Shadow Play” - Throwback to an oldie but a goodie!
This month has been crazy with freelance but hopefully I’ll get to finish my new Halloween piece soon. Let’s just say I think it will have a Universal appeal :)
Happy October!

Happy October!
It’s been a few years since I made this but I always like to repost it early on in October because I love this month and getting in the Fall mood. Hope everyone has a great Halloween month!
Earlier this year I was hired by Simon & Schuster to illustrate two children’s books to tie into the DreamWorks animated movie “Abominable.” If you haven’t seen the trailers it’s a cute story about a group of kids who find a baby Yeti and help get him back to his home on Mt. Everest.
In anticipation of the movie coming out this Friday, I wanted to share some of the illustrations from the books, which are now available on Amazon.
Happy Meerkat Monday, everyone!
It’s a Jon Snow Globe! I can’t wait for the final season of Game of Thrones next year! I mean, it was really cool of HBO to let them do a practice last season to iron out (pun intended) any kinks. Not many studios would take that sort of risk, but I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how it really ends :D
“Mythologies: Batman” My tribute to the history and legacy of the Caped Crusader himself! Just like with my Superman piece, there was too much history to choose from so I focused on the aspects of the mythos that resonated with me the most.
“Mythologies: Superman” - My tribute to the mythology of the man of steel himself! I wanted to do something that encapsulated the character’s history, but I knew it would’ve been impossible to represent even half of the most important parts so I focused on the moments and scenes that helped define the character for me and what I feel still stands the test of time today.
“Standby Me” - Here’s the complete lineup of all the Disney girls from my Disneybound inspired series. I like looking at them like this because it’s like having a visual snippet of Disney animation history :)
I am experimenting with a poster of this at San Diego Comic Con next week, and if all goes well I’ll put it up on my online store as well.
Decided to go back and tweak my second set of Disney girls in preparation of finishing the last seven I recently posted. Here’s Jasmine, Pocahontas, Esmeralda, Meg, Mulan and Jane in all their Disneyland glory. I’ll be updating this print in my store soon as well as for San Diego Comic Con next week!
Final Disneyland Protip: If you’ve got exposed skin, be wary of any friends who’ve just bought any ice cold drinks or treats lest you get a chilly surprise. Here’s the last installment in my “Standby Me” series featuring Anna, Elsa and Moana (I had to squeeze her in).
It’s been a fun ride (pun intended) as this all started with just a fun sketch of a modern day Snow White before I even knew that Disneybounding was a thing. And now it’s evolved into all of the Disney girls having fun while they wait in line. I’m excited to post them together soon and reveal a new format I experimented with :)
